About Me

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) with a background in social work and extensive experience supporting individuals and families for over 20 years. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Development Studies from the University of Waterloo. I also completed a Diploma in General Social Work Studies and a Certificate in Child Abuse Studies through the University of Waterloo.

My approach to psychotherapy is grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to the unique needs, experiences, and goals of each individual. I have completed specialized training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), and Play Therapy. I have also completed extensive training in clinical interventions for eating disorders and body image concerns.

A particular area of my practice is supporting adolescents and adults on the autism spectrum, as well as parents and caregivers raising children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). My extensive training and experience in this area allow me to provide support that recognizes the individual strengths, needs, and lived experiences of autistic individuals and their families.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients can better understand themselves, navigate challenges, develop meaningful coping strategies, and work toward the changes they want to make in their lives.
